Data deletion
You can remove everything BakeVideos holds about you yourself, from inside the studio, and the Instagram connection can also be removed from Instagram's side. Last updated 4 October 2026.
Delete videos
Open My videos, choose a video and press Delete. The brief, script, clips, voice, render and thumbnails for that video are removed from our servers at once, and from backups within 30 days.
Disconnect Instagram
Open Publish and press Disconnect. The access token, your Instagram username, the posting queue and the posting history are deleted immediately. Nothing already posted on Instagram is touched; delete those Reels in the Instagram app if you want them gone.
You can also remove BakeVideos from Instagram directly: in the Instagram app go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, find BakeVideos and remove it. Instagram tells us, and we delete the same data on our side automatically. If you ask Meta to delete your data through that screen, you receive a confirmation code and a link where you can check that the deletion was carried out.
Delete your account
Email privacy@bakevideos.com from the address you sign in with and ask for account deletion. We delete your sign-in record, all your videos and any connected social accounts within 7 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted automatically
- Public download links for renders expire after 3 hours.
- Server logs are kept for 30 days.
- Videos are kept while your plan is active. After a cancel they are deleted 7 days later (or when the paid period ends, if later); an account without a plan keeps them for 7 days. The studio shows the date on My videos and on your account page.
FAQ
Does deleting a video remove it from Instagram?
No. BakeVideos only deletes its own copy. Posts already published stay on Instagram until you delete them there.
Can I get my data back after deleting?
No. Deletion is permanent. Download the MP4 first if you want to keep it.
