TikTok Creator Rewards requirements for AI and faceless videos (2026)
TikTok's Creator Rewards Program requires you to be at least 18, have 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, use a Personal account in good standing in an eligible country, and post original, high-quality videos over one minute long. Faceless and AI-assisted videos are not excluded, but two rules decide it: the video must be original, and it must run past one minute. A 60-second faceless short grows the account; it does not earn rewards by itself.
What are the TikTok Creator Rewards requirements in 2026?
From TikTok's own Creator Academy page (Creator Rewards Program: how to qualify and enroll, Sept 2026):
| Requirement | Number or rule | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Age | 18 or older | TikTok Creator Academy (Sept 2026) |
| Followers | at least 10,000 | same |
| Video views, last 30 days | at least 100,000 | same |
| Account type | Personal account in good standing; Business accounts not eligible | same |
| Eligible countries | United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico, Brazil | same |
| Video length | over 1 minute | same |
| Originality | original, high-quality; not a Duet or Stitch; not made with Photo Mode; no ads, paid promotion or sponsored content | same |
| Minimum views per video | at least 1,000 on the For You feed | same |
The program replaced the earlier Creativity Program Beta in March 2024 (TikTok Newsroom, March 2024). Payment is per qualified view and is weighted by originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement, per the same announcement. TikTok does not publish a fixed rate, so we will not quote one.
Do AI and faceless videos qualify for Creator Rewards?
Nothing in the requirements says a face must be on screen, and nothing bans AI-written scripts or synthetic narration. The word that matters is "original". TikTok wants content you made, not content lifted from someone else and reposted.
A faceless video with your own script, your own narration (human or synthetic), your own edit and licensed stock footage is your work. A video that is a downloaded clip with a caption over it is not. The program's exclusions (Duets, Stitches, Photo Mode, sponsored posts) are all about content that is either someone else's or an ad.
We cannot promise that TikTok will treat any given AI-assisted video as original; TikTok reviews videos itself and its rules can change. What we can say is what goes into a BakeVideos render, so you can judge it against the rule: an AI-written script from your sentence, a neural voice, real Pexels and Pixabay footage matched to each scene, word-synced captions and no-attribution music, with a licence record saved for every render.
Do you have to label AI content on TikTok?
Sometimes. TikTok asks creators to label content that is "completely generated or significantly edited by AI" and shows realistic-looking scenes or people (TikTok Newsroom, AI-generated content labels, Sept 2026). Its examples are a real person whose image, voice or words are altered by AI, real-world scenes altered by AI, and fully AI-generated videos of real or fictional people, places and events. You can apply the label in the post settings, or disclose in the caption or with a sticker. TikTok says the label does not affect distribution.
A faceless video with a synthetic voice over real stock footage is not a fully generated video and does not alter a real person. If you are unsure, add the label anyway; it costs nothing. BakeVideos does not generate imagery or clone voices, so the two examples most likely to need a label do not apply to its output.
Why does the one-minute rule matter for faceless creators?
Because most faceless shorts are under a minute. TikTok only pays rewards on videos over one minute long. BakeVideos makes 15 to 60-second videos, so a single BakeVideos short is below that line. Longer output is not live, and we will not pretend otherwise.
That does not make short videos useless for the program. The 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in 30 days are account-level numbers, and short videos are the fastest way to earn them. The pattern many faceless creators use is short videos to grow the account, then longer videos, made in a long-form editor, once the audience is there.
How do you get to 10,000 followers with faceless TikToks?
- Post daily. TikTok's feed rewards consistency, and the 100,000-views window is only 30 days wide.
- Pick one niche and stay in it, so the follow makes sense. History, money, scary stories, motivation and quizzes all work faceless.
- Hook in the first line. BakeVideos writes scripts hook-first for this reason.
- Use word-synced captions. Many TikTok viewers watch with sound off at least some of the time.
- Vary the videos. A repost of the same template with a different noun does not grow followers and looks like the kind of thing TikTok calls non-original.
One sentence is enough to start: bake a 45-second faceless TikTok about three money habits that quietly cost people thousands a year. Free to try, no watermark. You post it yourself; auto-posting is not live.
What gets a video rejected as not original?
Based on TikTok's own list of exclusions: Duets and Stitches, Photo Mode posts, ads and sponsored content, and anything that is not original. Beyond that, anything TikTok judges to be reposted or lifted from elsewhere. A clean MP4 with no other app's watermark, uploaded by you, with your script and edit, is the safe shape. BakeVideos renders carry no watermark.
FAQ
How many followers do you need for TikTok Creator Rewards? 10,000 followers, plus 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, an age of 18 or over, and a Personal account in an eligible country (TikTok Creator Academy, Sept 2026).
Can faceless TikTok videos be monetized? Yes. Nothing in the Creator Rewards requirements needs a face. The rules that matter are originality and a video length over one minute.
Do AI videos qualify for TikTok Creator Rewards? They are not excluded. The video must be original and over one minute, and content that is fully AI-generated or alters real people must carry an AI label. TikTok makes the final call on each video.
Does BakeVideos make videos over one minute? Not yet. BakeVideos makes 15 to 60-second videos. They are useful for growing followers and views, which are the account-level requirements, but a single BakeVideos video is under the one-minute rewards threshold.
Do I need to label a BakeVideos video as AI on TikTok? TikTok's label is for content completely generated or significantly edited by AI that looks realistic. A BakeVideos video uses real stock footage and a synthetic narrator, with no generated imagery and no cloning. If you are unsure, add the label; TikTok says it does not affect distribution.
