AI quiz video maker: trivia shorts with questions, pauses and answers
BakeVideos turns one sentence into a trivia short: each question is its own scene, followed by a short pause and then the answer, read by a natural neural voice over real licensed footage with word-synced captions and music. A 15–60 second vertical MP4 in about 1–2 minutes. Free to try, no watermark.
The sample above was baked from this sentence
The short at the top of this page came from this brief and nothing more: "A 30-second trivia short: three geography questions, a short pause after each, then the answer. Playful, quick." The questions, the pauses, the answers, voice, footage, captions and music were all generated from that line. Bake the same brief and see what you get.
What works in quiz shorts
- First question in the first second. No "welcome to today's quiz". The first line should be the first question, and it should be one most people think they know.
- Question, pause, answer: one scene each. Ask for "a short pause after each" in the brief and the script leaves a beat before every answer. If the pause is too short, add a one-word line like "Ready?" in the editor and it becomes its own scene.
- Three questions in 30 seconds. Three is the right number for a short. Five questions in 30 seconds gives no time to guess.
- Footage that hints, not spoils. The clip under a geography question should show the region without showing a name. Footage is picked from the meaning of each line; swap any clip that gives the answer away.
- Headline captions for the answer. Word-by-word captions carry the question; switch the answer scene to a headline caption so the answer lands as one line.
Three briefs to try
Each link opens the studio with the brief already filled in.
- A 30-second trivia short: three questions about space, a short pause after each, then the answer. Playful, quick.
- A 30-second trivia short: three questions about animals that most adults get wrong, a pause after each, then the answer. Fun, fast.
- A 30-second trivia short: three questions about famous inventions and the year they appeared, a pause after each, then the answer. Playful.
How it works
- Type one sentence. Name the topic, how many questions, and the pace. Or paste your own questions and answers as the script.
- BakeVideos bakes the short. Question, pause, answer as separate scenes, a neural voice, real footage from Pexels and Pixabay, captions and music. About 1–2 minutes.
- Check the answers, then download. Edit any line and only that scene is re-voiced. Reorder scenes, swap footage, download the MP4.
Rights and monetisation
Nothing in a render needs attribution. Footage comes from Pexels and Pixabay under licences that allow social, YouTube, ads and online video, and a licence record is saved with every render. Music is from a no-attribution library (Mixkit Stock Music Free License). Whether a platform monetises the channel is the platform's decision; we cannot promise it.
FAQ
Are the answers correct?
Not guaranteed. The AI writes the questions and answers from your sentence and can be wrong. Check every answer before you post; fixing one line re-renders only that scene. Or paste your own checked questions as the script.
Can I use my own questions?
Yes. Paste them as a script, one question and one answer per line, and BakeVideos keeps the wording, then adds the voice, footage, captions and music.
Can I make the pause longer?
Yes. Add a short line such as "Ready?" or "Think." after a question in the editor and it becomes its own scene, which lengthens the gap. You can also reorder or delete scenes.
Does it post to TikTok or YouTube for me?
Not yet. You download the MP4 and upload it yourself. Auto-posting is not live.
