Faceless YouTube Shorts generator: from one sentence to a posted Short
BakeVideos makes faceless YouTube Shorts from one sentence: an AI script with the hook first, a natural neural voice, real licensed stock footage with a licence record saved per render, word-synced captions and no-attribution music, rendered as a 1080×1920 MP4. About 1–2 minutes per Short, with a free video to try and no watermark. You download the file and upload it as a Short.
What YouTube wants from a faceless Short
- Vertical, 9:16, 1080×1920, and 3 minutes or under. As of Sept 2026 YouTube treats any vertical (or square) upload of 3 minutes or less as a Short. BakeVideos renders 9:16 at 1080×1920 and makes 15–60 second videos, so everything it produces is a Short by YouTube's rule.
- Keep captions out of the UI. The Shorts player draws the title, channel name and description over the bottom of the frame and the like, dislike, comment and share buttons down the right edge. Keep your own text out of roughly the bottom 20% and the right edge. BakeVideos places captions in the middle band.
- The first two seconds. Shorts are swiped or kept on the first line. The generator puts the sharpest sentence of your brief first. If it is not sharp, edit that one line; only that scene re-renders.
- 20 to 35 seconds. Shorts are ranked heavily on whether people watch to the end and watch again. A 25-second Short that loops is better than a 60-second one that is abandoned at 40.
- One a day beats a burst. Shorts feed exposure is per video, and a daily rhythm gives every video its own chance.
Why the footage and captions matter on YouTube Shorts
YouTube's reused-content and inauthentic-content rules (the latter updated July 2025) are what faceless channels get caught by. Stock clip after stock clip, unrelated to the narration, reads as templated; footage that matches the meaning of each line reads as edited on purpose. BakeVideos picks each clip from the meaning of the scene and saves a licence record per render. You can also upload your own clips and photos, the strongest answer to "reused content".
Shorts are often watched muted, and auto-captions are off by default. Word-by-word captions baked into the frame keep muted viewers to the end; the headline style suits a closing line; none suits a clean cinematic clip.
Three briefs to try
Each link opens the studio with the brief already filled in.
- A 30-second YouTube Short about how the Library of Alexandria was lost slowly over centuries, not in one fire. Calm documentary tone.
- A 30-second personal finance Short: the 50/30/20 budgeting rule explained in plain words with one example on a 3,000 dollar monthly income.
- A 30-second trivia Short: three geography questions, a short pause after each, then the answer. Playful, quick.
How it works
- Type one sentence. Topic, angle, tone, ending. Or paste your own script.
- BakeVideos bakes the Short. Script with the hook first and one idea per scene, a neural voice, real footage from Pexels and Pixabay, word-synced captions and music. About 1–2 minutes.
- Fix, download, upload. Edit any line and only that scene is re-voiced. Swap footage, change the voice or captions. Download the MP4 and upload it as a Short in YouTube Studio or the app. Auto-posting is not live. Nothing in a render needs attribution: footage is licensed from Pexels and Pixabay with a licence record saved per render, and the music is from a no-attribution library, so it does not trigger label Content ID claims.
Requirements
Per YouTube's published rules as of Sept 2026, the YouTube Partner Program needs 1,000 subscribers plus either 10 million public Shorts views in the last 90 days or 4,000 public watch hours on long-form videos in the last 12 months. Shorts ad revenue is shared from a pooled fund, not per video like long-form. YouTube also asks you to tick the "altered or synthetic content" disclosure where it applies, and its inauthentic-content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive uploads. Read the current policy in YouTube Studio before you plan around any of this.
FAQ
Can I make faceless YouTube Shorts for free?
You can generate a video free, then plans from $24 a month (Creator: 40 shorts and 4 long videos at the pre-launch price). No watermark on any plan, and only new videos count: edits and re-renders are free.
Does BakeVideos upload to YouTube for me?
Not yet. You download the MP4 and upload it as a Short. Auto-posting and scheduling are not live.
Will a faceless Short made with AI get demonetised?
We cannot promise either way. YouTube's rules as of Sept 2026 target mass-produced, repetitive and reused content, not AI tools as such. Original scripts, footage that fits the narration, your own edits and the synthetic-content disclosure where it applies are what YouTube's policy asks for. Quote the policy, not us.
Can I use my own script and footage?
Yes. Paste a script and BakeVideos keeps every line. In the editor you can upload your own clips or photos for any scene, which is the best answer to a reused-content review.
